LIUGONG BUILDS A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS IN ITALY AND MAKES ITS DEBUT AT SAMOTER
May 3, 2023 – Verona, Italy – LiuGong’s success in Europe continues to build momentum with Italy very much in focus in 2023. The company has seen unprecedented growth in Europe over the last 5 years. Excavator sales alone have increased by 1000%, a sure sign of the popularity of LiuGong’s New F-Series range.

LiuGong’s success in Europe can be explained by the way in which it interacts with its customers and dealer network. LiuGong have cultivated a “can do” attitude both to its business relationships and product design, a fact underlined by Movinvest, one of LiuGong’s key dealer partners in Italy. LiuGong’s heaviest model in the midi excavator range, the 909ECR delivers a powerful and stable operating experience, with excellent visibility, comfort, and jobsite versatility.
9027F
Equipped with a full specification and a short tail design the 9027F perfectly meets the needs of the expanding Italian market which has seen growth in this segment double in the last 5 years.
9018F
The 1-2 category represents one-third of the total excavator market in Italy. The 9018F matches the needs of this important segment with a high-specification machine with full auxiliary lines, automatic idle functionality and a long dozer blade for added stability.
848H
Perfect for mining, quarrying and heavy applications the 848H well suited to the Italian market. With the ultimate power shift transmission and smart fuel saving technology the 848H has been designed to deliver the highest load and carry performance matched with the highest economy and efficiency.
An intelligent future
LiuGong will also be previewing some of their latest sustainable technology including BEVs, Telematics and Intelligent, autonomous machines. LiuGong were one of the first Chinese construction equipment manufacturers to identify the potential for battery electric vehicles in the construction industry and have invested over 100 million RMB in the last 8 years alone on R&D, product development and testing. LiuGong’s 856HE MAX electric loader is already the most popular electric wheel loader in China with over 600 units currently in the field. LiuGong’s European product team are currently field testing a range of electric wheel loaders and excavators design for the European market.
